Rules
The Pioneer Sports TOB Ball Hockey League follows the official USA Ball Hockey rulebook to ensure fair, consistent, and competitive gameplay across all divisions.
Game Format
- Games consist of three running time periods
- 10 Minutes for Peewee and Penguin
- 12 Minutes for Beaver and Cadet
- The clock runs continuously except in special situations determined by officials
- 1 Minute Penalties with stoppage time
- Clock stops under 2 minutes when game is within 2 goals
Overtime
- If a game is tied at the end of regulation, a 5 minute overtime period will be played
- Overtime is played 3 on 3
- Golden Goal format applies, meaning the first team to score wins immediately
- If no winner is determined after this Overtime period, a Shootout will take place to decide the winner
